Kathak is classical dance of which Indian state?

Kathak is one of the eight classical dance forms of India, originating from the northern Indian states and traditionally associated with the storytelling traditions of the Kathakars (storytellers). It flourished in the courts of North India, particularly in Lucknow and Jaipur. Kerala, Manipur, and Tamil Nadu are associated with Kathakali, Manipuri, and Bharatnatyam respectively.
