Orange, peach, and lemon are citrus fruits with soft, edible skins. Pineapple is the odd one out - it has a tough, spiky, inedible skin (rind) that must be removed, and belongs to the bromeliad family rather than citrus. Its structure and texture are distinctly different from the smooth-skinned citrus fruits.
