Humans breathe normally in space as they can on Earth

Humans cannot breathe normally in space because space is a vacuum with essentially no atmosphere or oxygen. Without a spacesuit providing pressurized air, humans would lose consciousness within seconds and die within minutes. The lack of atmospheric pressure would also cause bodily fluids to boil at normal body temperature.
