Petrified Forest National Park is located in northeastern Arizona, famous for its extensive fossilized wood deposits from the Late Triassic period. The park features colorful petrified logs, painted desert badlands, and ancient archaeological sites. Utah, California, and Montana have their own national parks but not this particular one.
