Nagaland has several indigenous languages, with Ao, Konyak, and Angami being major tribal languages spoken in the state. These belong to the Tibeto-Burman language family. Tamil and Telugu are Dravidian languages of South India, while Oriya is spoken in neighboring Odisha.
