The Red Fort Complex in Delhi was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors. Humayun's Tomb (1993), Champaner-Pavagadh (2004), and Taj Mahal (1983) were inscribed in earlier years.
