Tintin appears in India in two Tintin books: 'Cigars of the Pharaoh' (1934) and 'Tintin in Tibet' (1960). In 'Cigars of the Pharaoh', Tintin travels to India to investigate an international opium smuggling ring. In 'Tintin in Tibet', part of the story takes place in India as Tintin searches for his friend Chang in the Himalayas. No other Tintin adventures are primarily set in India.
