Where did the first session of Indian National Congress hold ?

The first session of the Indian National Congress was held in Bombay (now Mumbai) in December 1885. It was organized by A.O. Hume, a retired British civil servant, with W.C. Bonnerjee as its first President. The session had 72 delegates and marked the beginning of the organized national movement in India. Initially, the Congress aimed to provide a platform for political dialogue between educated Indians and the British government.
