Vikram Pandit served as the CEO of Citigroup from 2007 to 2012, leading the bank through the financial crisis. He was brought in to stabilize Citi during the subprime mortgage meltdown and oversaw its partial government bailout and subsequent recovery. The others are prominent Indian business leaders but never headed Citigroup.
