Japan's national legislature is called the Diet, a term derived from German constitutional law (Reichstag and Landtag). It consists of the House of Representatives and House of Councillors. Sejm is Polish, Federal Assembly is used in Switzerland and Czechia, and Shora is an Islamic consultative assembly term.
