Rudra is a Vedic deity and an early form of Shiva, representing the fierce or stormy aspect of the god. The name literally means 'the roarer' or 'the howler' and appears in the Rigveda. Brahma is the creator, Ganesh is the remover of obstacles, and Krishna is an avatar of Vishnu - Shiva alone is identified with Rudra.
