Suka (also known as Suka Deva or Shuka), the narrator of the Bhagavata Purana, was indeed the son of sage Vyasa (Ved Vyasa), who is credited with compiling and organizing the four Vedas. Saunaka was a different sage who appears in the Puranas, while Vishvagashva and Nikumbh are not directly related to Suka's parentage in Hindu tradition.
