In Hindu mythology, Lord Vishnu is believed to have 10 primary incarnations known as the Dashavatara. These include Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, Narasimha, Vamana, Parashurama, Rama, Krishna, Balarama (or Buddha in some traditions), and Kalki. The number 10 is the standard count in most Hindu traditions.
