The Blue Whale is the largest animal known to have ever lived, reaching lengths up to 30 meters and weights up to 200 tons. Dinosaurs were large but none matched the Blue Whale's size. Giraffes are the tallest land animals, and ostriches are large birds but much smaller than whales.
