The Qutb Minar is a 73-meter-tall minaret made of red sandstone and marble, featuring a spiral staircase with 379 steps. Construction began in the late 12th century and concluded in the 13th century under the Delhi Sultanate. The surrounding complex includes ruins of temples that were dismantled to build the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque.
