One of the first to draw the human body during dissection

Leonardo da Vinci was a Renaissance polymath who performed human dissections to create highly detailed and accurate anatomical drawings. His work bridged the gap between art and scientific study of the human body. Gregory Mendel focused on genetics, while Hippocrates and Aristotle lived long before systematic human dissection drawings of this detail were established.
