Feluda, whose real name is Pradosh Chandra Mitter, is a fictional Bengali detective character created by Satyajit Ray. Feluda first appeared in 1965 and starred in a series of detective novels and stories that became hugely popular in Bengali literature and were later adapted into films. Satyajit Ray, a renowned filmmaker, was also a prolific writer of fiction.
