Between the Assassinations is a collection of short stories by Aravind Adiga, published in 2008 (the title refers to the period between Indira Gandhi's assassination in 1984 and Rajiv Gandhi's assassination in 1991). The stories are set in the fictional Indian city of Kittur and explore class struggles and contemporary Indian society. Adiga won the Booker Prize for The White Tiger, and this collection showcases his keen observation of Indian life.
