Richard Hollingshead invented the drive-in theater in 1933 and opened the first one in Camden, New Jersey. His invention allowed families to watch movies from their cars, combining the popularity of automobiles with cinema. The first drive-in could accommodate 400 cars and became an American cultural phenomenon. The other names (Brown, Zworykin, Duramold) are not associated with this invention.
