19) Who wrote Ramanayanam in Tamil?

Kambar (also known as Kamban) was the Tamil poet who wrote the Ramavataram, popularly known as Kamba Ramayanam, in Tamil during the 12th century CE. It is one of the most important works of Tamil literature and presents the Ramayana story in a distinctly Tamil cultural context. Andal, Perialwar, and Ramanujar were important figures in Tamil Vaishnavite Bhakti poetry but not associated with the Ramayana epic.
