A small girl was born in a small family living in a small town in Alabama, U.S. It was the summer season of the year 1880 when she took birth. Her parents gave her the name 'Hellen Keller’. One day, the girl got sick with a high fever. Her parents tried everything they could to help her to get better but nothing worked. They gave up hope of her survival. Then a miracle happened and Hellen survived. But she was not the same after she recovered from her sickness. Her parents felt that something was wrong with their daughter. At last, they came to know that the girl could not see or hear. The child grew into a beautiful little girl. Her mother always said that Hellen was very smart. The only problem was that she was locked inside herself.
