Harry Potter's wand is made of Holly wood with a Phoenix Feather core. The phoenix feather came from Fawkes, Dumbledore's phoenix. This wand chose Harry at Ollivander's wand shop and was brother to Voldemort's wand (Yew and Phoenix Feather), which explained the priori incantatem connection between them.
