Why do parents send their children to school?

Going to school for the first time is really a big event for a child as well as for his family. The tears that we hear about at the school gate on the first day are real. Parents send their children to school to fit in with other children, to enjoy learning new things and to become confidently independent. A child learns many things like behaving with others, learning, sitting and standing manners, to go to the toilet at set times, when it’s okay to eat, ways to talk with others and more. The list goes on and on. School develops a sense of excitement for learning in a child and helps them to feel successful and special in a school setting. School teachers cooperate very much and develop new skills like verbal and listening skills and stimulate a child’s creativity.
