Isabella; or, The Pot of Basil (1818) is a narrative poem by John Keats, adapted from a story in Boccaccio's Decameron. It tells the tragic tale of two lovers whose romance ends in disaster. 'Pate' appears to be a corrupted name entry, while Homer wrote ancient Greek epics, not Romantic poetry.
