Jhelum, Sutlej, and Chenab are all tributaries of the Indus River, forming the Indus River System. Ganga is part of a separate river system (Ganges-Brahmaputra) that flows eastward into the Bay of Bengal, making it geographically and hydrologically distinct from the other three.
