In sentence (iii) the correct option is B. The noun excess indicates the act of going beyond normal or permitted limits. The noun access indicates a means of approaching or communicating. 

In sentence (iv) the correct option is A. The adverb besides indicates moreover or furthermore; in addition to. The preposition beside indicates by the side of or near something.
