Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi was the French sculptor who designed and created the Statue of Liberty, which was a gift from France to the United States. He worked closely with engineer Gustave Eiffel, who designed the internal iron framework. Rembrandt was a famous painter from a much earlier period, and the other names are not associated with this monument.
