Thimphu is the capital and largest city of Bhutan, located in the western part of the country. The distractors include misspellings or other capitals: Gantok (misspelling of Gangtok, which is Sikkim's capital, not Bhutan), Tehran (Iran), and Lhasha (misspelling of Lhasa, Tibet). Bhutan is a Himalayan kingdom, and Thimphu has been its capital since 1961. Note: 'Gantok', 'Timphu', and 'Lhasha' are misspelled.
