Which is world's largest desert?

The Sahara Desert is the world's largest hot desert, covering approximately 9.2 million square kilometers across North Africa. It's also the largest desert overall if polar deserts (like Antarctica) are excluded from consideration. The Kalahari and Thar are significant deserts in Africa and Asia respectively, but much smaller than the Sahara. 'Blue' appears to be an incomplete or erroneous option.
