Shakuntala (or Shakuntalam) is a famous Sanskrit play by Kalidas, the ancient Indian dramatist and poet often called the Shakespeare of India. Firdausi was a Persian poet, P.B. Shelley wrote English Romantic poetry (Ode to the West Wind), and John Jean is not a recognized classical author.
