The New Seven Wonders of the World, announced in 2007, included the Great Wall of China, Petra (Jordan), Colosseum (Rome), Machu Picchu (Peru), Christ the Redeemer (Brazil), Chichen Itza (Mexico), and the Taj Mahal (India). The Eiffel Tower was NOT included in this list, though it is one of the most recognizable landmarks globally. The original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World were a different list altogether.
