Geet Govindam (Gita Govinda) is a 12th-century Sanskrit poem composed by the poet Jayadeva. It's a lyrical drama about the divine love between Krishna and Radha, and is considered one of the most important works in Sanskrit literature. Surdas wrote devotional poetry about Krishna but in Hindi, Mirabai was a 16th-century Rajput princess-poet, and neither wrote Geet Govindam.
