Infrared is the odd one out because it's an optical line-of-sight technology requiring direct visibility between devices. Zigbee, Wibree (later renamed Bluetooth Low Energy), and Bluetooth are all wireless radio frequency protocols operating in the 2.4GHz band that don't require line of sight and can work through obstacles.
