Infrared (IR) is the odd one out because it's not a wireless networking protocol standard like the others. Zigbee, Wibree (later Bluetooth Low Energy), and Bluetooth are all short-range wireless communication protocols, while Infrared is a line-of-sight light-based communication technology.
