The song was sad and depicted the sad feelings of the master who it appeared had suffered at the hands of his beloved.
Scenario – 2
Once upon a time, Maharaja Ranjit Singh was walking in the bazaar. He saw that a man, in rags, was standing at a shop and was staring at him continuously. The Maharaja at once recognised that the man was his childhood friend. The Maharaja soon got down from his elephant and approached that man and said, “Why, sir? Do you recognise me?” Saying so, he closely hugged him.
