Leonid Hurwicz was 90 years old when he received the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2007, making him the oldest Nobel Laureate in history. He shared the prize with Eric Maskin and Roger Myerson for their work on mechanism design theory. Bragg was much younger (25) when he won, and while Pauling and Lessing were older recipients, Hurwicz remains the record holder.
