Toyota's F1 team was based in Cologne, Germany (Toyota Team Europe facility). Cologne is near the Belgian border in western Germany. Faenza is home to Toro Rosso, Maranello is Ferrari's base, and Northamptonshire hosts several F1 teams but not Toyota. Toyota competed in F1 from 2002-2009 before withdrawing from the sport.
