Thermobaric bombs (also called fuel-air explosives or vacuum bombs) use atmospheric oxygen as the oxidizer, unlike conventional explosives which carry their own oxygen source. Thermonuclear bombs use nuclear fusion, anti-tank mines are conventional explosives, and dirty bombs scatter radioactive material.
