Pinworms (Enterobius vermicularis) are intestinal parasites that inhabit the human digestive tract, specifically the cecum, appendix, and adjacent areas of the large intestine. They do not live in the liver, pancreas, or mouth. The adult worms live in the intestine, and their eggs are deposited around the anal region, which is how the infection spreads.
