Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, Lake Erie, and Lake Ontario form the Great Lakes of North America. Lake Baikal is in Siberia, Russia, and though it is the world's deepest lake and holds about 20% of Earth's unfrozen freshwater, it is not part of the North American Great Lakes system.
