The questions given below contain three statements giving certain data. You have to decide whether the data given in the statements are sufficient for answering the question?

In how many days can 16 boys and 8 girls do a piece of work? I 5 girls can do the same work in 32 days. II 16 girls can do the same work in 10 days. III 8 boys can do the same work in 10 days.

To find days for 16 boys + 8 girls, we need individual work rates. Statement III gives boys' rate (8 boys = 10 days, so 1 boy = 80 days). Statements I and II both give girls' rate (5 girls = 32 days or 16 girls = 10 days, both give 1 girl = 160 days). We need girls' rate (from I OR II) plus boys' rate (from III). Statements I and II are redundant - either works with III. Combined rate: 16/80 + 8/160 = 0.2 + 0.05 = 0.25 work/day, so 4 days needed.
