Android 1.5 Cupcake was released in April 2009. This was the first version to have an official codename. Options 2007, 2008, and 2010 are incorrect - Android development began in 2003, Google acquired it in 2005, early prototypes existed in 2007-2008, but Cupcake specifically released in 2009.
