DAYS360 calculates the number of days between two dates using a 360-day year convention (12 months of 30 days each). This is commonly used in financial calculations for simplified interest computations. The function differs from regular day counting methods by assuming standardized month lengths.
DAYS360 is the spreadsheet/financial function that calculates the number of days between two dates using a 360-day year (12 months of 30 days each), commonly used for bond/interest calculations following the 30/360 convention. DAY simply returns the day-of-month component of a date. DAYS365 and DAYS are not standard function names for this purpose (DAYS in Excel computes actual calendar-day difference, not on a 360-day basis).
