The Diamantina Trench (also known as the Java Trench or Sunda Trench) is the deepest point in the Indian Ocean, reaching approximately 7,725 meters (25,344 ft) deep. The Mariana Trench is in the Pacific Ocean, Tonga Trench is in the South Pacific, and Japan Trench is in the North Pacific.
