Wolf 359 is the only red dwarf star and is also one of the closest stars to Earth at just 7.8 light-years away. The other options are either giant stars (Aldebaran, Betelgeuse, Arcturus) or star catalog designations without specific stellar classification (R 122, HD 47536, Sher 25). Proxima Centauri is also close but is not listed here.
