For which diode current constant throughout the diode even for reverse bias

Tunnel diodes exhibit a unique property due to quantum mechanical tunneling - they maintain relatively constant current characteristics even in reverse bias conditions. This is because tunnel diodes have a very narrow depletion region and heavily doped p and n regions, allowing significant tunneling current in both forward and reverse bias. Unlike Zener diodes which conduct only at breakdown voltage, tunnel diodes conduct continuously.
