who invented Ball-Point Pen

Ladislao (László) Bíró invented the ballpoint pen in the 1930s. He was a Hungarian journalist who Frustrated with fountain pens, he developed a pen with a rolling ball that distributed ink evenly. The name 'Biro' is still used as a generic term for ballpoint pens in many countries. Thomas Edison invented the light bulb and phonograph, not the ballpoint pen.
