Kaikeyi was Dasharatha's favorite wife who saved his life in battle and earned two boons. She later demanded that Rama be exiled for 14 years and Bharatha be crowned king instead, fulfilling the boons. Kausalya was Rama's mother, Sumithra was Lakshmana's mother, and Kooni was the maid who manipulated Kaikeyi.
