Kleptophobia is the irrational fear of thieves or stealing. The term derives from Greek 'kleptein' meaning to steal. This phobia can manifest as excessive fear of burglary, theft, or encountering thieves. Keraunophobia is fear of thunder; Kyphophobia is fear of hunchbacks (or more commonly, fear of stooping).
