Members of Parliament can express themselves in the House in English, Hindi, or their mother tongue. This constitutional provision (Article 120) ensures linguistic diversity and allows MPs to speak in any scheduled language. Simultaneous interpretation is provided for other members. This flexibility accommodates India's multilingual character.
